Tacking different and important subjects in creative ways

We initially created two short films for BBC Ideas, an online platform bursting with content for curious minds. While ‘Do we think differently in different languages?’ was the fastest trending film on the platform following its publication, viewers related on an emotional level to ‘How the Pain of Childhood Grief Can Spur Success’ and shared their own experiences of childhood loss, creating supportive spaces to open up a dialogue about the topic.

The BBC then came back to us with a third project to make in collaboration with The Open University – ‘Are You Sharing Too Much Online?’ This was a fascinating project all about the ethics of Sharenting.

One of the greatest things about this project was overcoming the challenge of condensing topics into digestible, engaging and compelling short videos without watering down the academic debate or the human stories that emerged through our research.
